Assistant Sales Manager (Industrial Adhesive & Tapes Division)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia; travel within Malaysia at least twice per quarter is required

What you will do

• Meet designated sales targets and generate qualified opportunities within target time frames.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential industrial customers.
• Develop expertise in adhesive and tape products, their benefits, and applications.
• Provide technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customer solutions and maintain sales activity and demand forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemical, Industrial, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with an established professional network.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Self-motivated, independent, creative, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
• Own transport, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel within Malaysia at least twice per quarter.
