Application Engineer - Electrical Markets

What you will do

• Identify and develop new applications for medium- and high-voltage cable accessories through customer engagement, technical presentations, and field trials.
• Lead application development, product improvement, qualification, and validation initiatives.
• Provide technical support and technical marketing to utility and industrial customers.
• Plan field trials, pre-qualification, type testing, certification, and failure analysis with customers, laboratories, and global experts.
• Support new product introductions by preparing documentation, bills of materials, installation methods, and customized solutions.
• Deliver product training, perform competitive analysis, and build industry presence through technical papers, presentations, and professional bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in power engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and transmission systems, including cables, switchgear, and transformers.
• Hands-on experience with installation, testing, or troubleshooting of cable accessories; medium- and high-voltage cable accessories experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives independently.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel for field work.
