Sales Application Engineer (High Voltage)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia; remote/flexible work available

What you will do

• Review customer requests for quotations and prepare technical and commercial service offers.
• Lead cost integration, pricing analysis, and technical and commercial risk assessment.
• Prepare tender documentation, including drawings, technical data sheets, bills of materials, method statements, project plans, QHSE documents, and schedules.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, factories, and regional supply chain teams to develop compliant offers and resolve technical changes.
• Support sales activities, including product promotions, site walk-downs, customer visits, negotiations, and follow-up.
• Manage customer orders and revisions, support spare-parts orders, and identify process-improvement, cost-saving, and localization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with a major electrical contractor, including preparation of quotations for service-based work.
• Knowledge of the high-voltage transmission industry in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region.
• Experience in engineering or site/field service technical roles is beneficial.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Salesforce.
• Professional English is required.
