Staff/Sr Staff Product Engineer (Power IC)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite work required

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle, production, and compliance of multiple mature power IC products in high-volume manufacturing.
• Drive COGS improvement and process optimization across yield, volume, test time, and failure reduction.
• Support product qualifications, second-source and material changes, and process migrations through the Process Change Review Board.
• Disposition abnormal or low-yield lots and resolve manufacturing and test issues across fab, assembly, and test sites.
• Work with operations, quality assurance, reliability, factories, OSAT partners, and other cross-functional teams.
• Analyze product performance, failure modes, and reliability to support customer returns, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of product engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, physics, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with integrated circuit semiconductor processes and product management.
• Data manipulation and analysis skills; familiarity with JMP is useful.
• Strong understanding of cost, ROI, efficiency, communication, adaptability, and time management.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills and willingness to work onsite are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PDF Exenso, product testing, or NPI product engineering.
• Experience with driver, power stage, or other IC and module products.
