Configuration Management Engineer (SAP)

Location: Bangalore, India. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Configure and write dependency rules for complex configurable materials.
• Develop and maintain variant configuration product models, including classes, characteristics, configuration profiles, tables, variant pricing, functions, dependency nets, BOM class nodes, preconditions, selection conditions, procedures, and super-bills of material.
• Manage production releases of configuration content between SAP environments using ALE.
• Maintain ECM and knowledge-base updates.
• Coordinate with business subject matter experts and follow established modeling styles and templates.
• Support integration across SAP Material Management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning modules.

Requirements

• Good experience with VC modeling and IPC in CRM.
• Experience working with highly complex configuration models.
• Understanding of variant configuration concepts and dependency rules.
• Working knowledge of SAP integration points across Material Management, Sales and Distribution, and Production Planning.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with business subject matter experts.

Nice to have

• Macro or BI knowledge.
• Experience training people and documenting processes.
