What you will do
- Provide functional and technical support for SAP Finance, Supply, and Tax users.
- Design and configure native indirect tax processes in the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem and integrate Vertex.
- Configure and support SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, including e-invoicing, withholding tax, and real-time reporting.
- Translate business and tax requirements into technical specifications and implement compliant solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews, assess risks, and recommend mitigations for ERP and enterprise data platforms.
- Govern end-to-end process standards, cross-system dependencies, documentation, approvals, and change impacts.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of relevant functional and technical experience in indirect tax.
- Hands-on implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience with SAP FI/CO and Vertex 9.0, including Chain Flow Accelerator, LCRD, and vendor reconciliation tools.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance solutions.
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience working with tax, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Knowledge of indirect tax and withholding tax rule changes across different countries.
- Strong facilitation, analytical problem-solving, process governance, communication, and cross-functional alignment skills.
