Electrician Foreman (Industrial Refrigeration)

Location: Lyndhurst, VA, USA; onsite manufacturing shop

Company

hirify.global designs, manufactures, constructs, commissions, and services industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂.

What you will do

• Supervise daily operations and coordinate the electrical team on the manufacturing shop floor.
• Coordinate electrical installations involving control panels, motors, sensors, and related systems.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and align electrical workflow with material availability and other departments.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot and functionally test electrical systems while maintaining NEC, company, and safety standards.
• Support prefabrication, cross-training, and team development.

Requirements

• Licensed electrician with at least 5 years of hands-on electrical experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Journeyman credentials are preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings, with strong knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience operating lifts, forklifts, and other shop equipment; ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying shop conditions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check; regular drug testing is required for this safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, and remain on foot while performing repetitive physical work.

• Experience supporting fabrication teams in manufacturing or construction.
• Willingness to assist with insulation, welding, or painting tasks.
