Maintenance Technician - Industrial (Electro-Mechanical) - Night Shift (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; onsite night-shift role

Salary: $35.00–$40.00 per hour, plus a $1.25 hourly shift differential; overtime, call-in, standby, and holiday pay may apply.

What you will do

• Provide maintenance support and repairs for production machinery, computer systems, facility equipment, and industrial controls.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, network, and computer hardware/software problems and complete timely repairs.
• Perform daily inspections, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and assigned work orders.
• Support production technicians through equipment setup, troubleshooting guidance, training, and coaching.
• Manage parts inventory and document maintenance activities using computer applications or required paperwork.
• Coordinate equipment shutdowns, repairs, and outside service requests with supervisors, plant personnel, vendors, and suppliers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of related electromechanical maintenance experience with high-speed automated industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, industrial controls, related I/O systems, and computer hardware/software.
• Ability to diagnose faults, perform Level A, B, and C preventive maintenance, and read schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, strong computer literacy, and the ability to write routine reports and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to work independently on nights and weekends, including a 12-hour rotating schedule, call-in duties, overtime, and holiday work.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent additional training.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
• Experience with inventory software, manufacturing software, and order processing systems.
