Corporate Accounting Manager

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid work with regular collaboration on the Sydney campus and coverage during AU hours

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop local corporate accountants, including performance management and career development.
• Support the month-end close across cash, intercompany accounting, leases, accruals, journals, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Partner with accounting, tax, FP&A, business, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve close issues and clarify accounting treatment.
• Manage the integration of accounting processes and systems for acquired entities to support seamless consolidation.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation while improving close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support accounting projects, systems enhancements, process documentation, and change management initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing accounting teams.
• Strong technical and operational corporate accounting expertise, including establishing standardized policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
• Extensive experience with SOX-compliant internal controls and accounting process transformation.
• Effective collaboration with FP&A, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or another enterprise ERP and adjacent tools.
• Ability to work from Sydney and support the corporate accounting team during AU hours.

• Experience with FloQast, AI tools, Canva, or a global accounting team.
