Manager, CFO Risk and Governance (1LOD Risk Business Partner to CFO)

What you will do

• Advise Finance functions including Reporting, Control, Advice, Procurement, and Tax on identifying, assessing, monitoring, and managing non-financial risks.
• Monitor and track risk issues, events, and audit actions, ensuring timely remediation in line with policies and procedures.
• Facilitate periodic business and product reviews to maintain risk profiles and compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Lead the development and monitoring of controls, including controls testing and due diligence activities.
• Provide reporting, analysis, and insights to CFO-domain leaders.
• Develop subject matter expertise in Finance products, processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of finance business processes, systems, and controls.
• Previous experience in a senior risk or compliance role within the first or second line of defense.
• Understanding of financial services regulatory and compliance regimes, including operational risk management frameworks, CPS 230, APRA Prudential Standards, and Risk in Change governance.
• Experience partnering with business leaders in first-line risk, business controls, operational risk, compliance, assurance, or governance functions.
• Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and data visualization.
• Awareness of AI and emerging technology risks.
