What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze cost reports, forecasts, budgets, and key performance indicators for strategic capital projects.
  • Develop and progressively elaborate project schedules, monitor progress against baselines, and identify critical paths.
  • Support project managers with cost analysis, work breakdown structures, estimating, accounting, reporting, and project lifecycle execution.
  • Integrate financial, scheduling, work, and asset management systems for capital project control and reporting.
  • Coordinate with capital accounting, tax, regulatory finance, and business-area stakeholders on project financial impacts and controls.
  • Provide training and mentoring on project controls, scheduling software, reporting, and the work and asset management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least five years of related project controls experience, including project planning, cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Expert knowledge of cost control or high proficiency in both cost control and project scheduling methods.
  • Strong understanding of project control, estimating, reporting methods, company policies, procedures, and project financial obligations.
  • Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, word processing, databases, scheduling software, and cost estimating applications.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP, Primavera Unifier, Primavera P6 Scheduler, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Copilot, PowerApps, or SharePoint.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency or certification, including formulas, macros, data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Professional certification from PMI, ASCE, or another accredited organization.
