Control Account Manager

Location: Full-time on-site at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Manage multiple control accounts with combined budgets of approximately $20–30 million.
• Develop and maintain integrated cost, schedule, and performance baselines.
• Analyze performance, trends, risks, and variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Use Primavera P6 for schedule planning, tracking, and integration with project controls.
• Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, change control, and execution with project managers, technical leads, finance, and program leadership.
• Prepare portfolio-level reports, metrics, and briefings for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active DOE Q Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing complex control accounts or project portfolios valued at $20M or more.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, project controls, cost management, and schedule management.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work full-time on-site at Los Alamos National Laboratory required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or National Laboratory programs.
• Experience with complex engineering, construction, or national security projects.
• PMP or CAM certification.
• Experience briefing senior leadership and developing portfolio-level performance metrics.
