Project Controls Specialist (Data Centers)

Location: Lomira, WI; project-based assignments throughout North America with approximately 75% travel and long-term onsite work as required

Delivers large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects through general contracting and EPC services, covering construction, utilities, power infrastructure, commissioning, and closeout.

What you will do

• Support project controls throughout the lifecycle of hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and analyze forecasts, cash flow reports, cost reports, project performance metrics, and financial tracking tools.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, productivity trends, risks, variances, and project performance.
• Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting models for project leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Support contracts, change orders, purchase orders, invoice allocation, commitment management, and cost coding.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, procurement, estimating, legal, accounting, and field teams; train teams on project controls systems and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline with 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with project controls, cost controls, forecasting, project accounting, construction operations, or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, cost management, contracts, and change orders.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel approximately 75%, and ability to support long-term onsite assignments throughout North America.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2W software, construction ERP systems, project accounting platforms, or project management software.
• Construction experience in mission-critical, EPC, industrial, utility, or infrastructure environments.
