Senior Manufacturing Process Sustaining Engineer (Optical and Photonic Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor and sustain manufacturing-process performance using SPC and analytical tools.
• Troubleshoot process, yield, quality, material, and equipment issues through root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, validate, and implement improvements that increase quality and yield while reducing defects, cycle time, and manufacturing costs.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Support new product introduction, process transfer, qualification, validation, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.
• Maintain process specifications, work instructions, control plans, Engineering Change Orders, and compliance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or sustaining engineering.
• Knowledge of SPC, root-cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Strong troubleshooting, data-analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Good command of English communication required.
• Ability to work in office, engineering laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments; protective equipment and cleanroom garments may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonic, electronics, semiconductor, or other high-technology manufacturing.
• Experience with process qualification, validation, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.
