Equipment Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering (Automation)

What you will do

• Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Manage equipment form-factor conversions, setup, and buyoff.
• Install new equipment and propagate equipment setups.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and troubleshoot major equipment issues.
• Support spare-parts inventory purchasing and train employees on SOPs, human behavior, and machine operation.
• Use PLC, CTC, C++, and Python programming for equipment troubleshooting while adhering to OSHA safety and health standards.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline related to automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Up to 3 years of experience is preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Expertise in control systems.
• Basic knowledge of machine programming languages such as PLC is advantageous.
• CAD and Python or C++ programming experience is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Understanding of AI infrastructure, including LLMs, machine learning, or agentic AI.
