Lab Module Engineer

Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Install and qualify equipment hardware and software for new products, supporting pre-mature A0 stepping power-on.
• Deploy software, qualify new software versions, and troubleshoot platforms, handlers, and related engineering systems.
• Support handler GUI, PLC, and software stack integration, including Aguila/Skyline and AIC integration within MB/AC PAN architecture.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support, training, coaching, response-flow checklists, and best-known methods for manufacturing technicians.
• Analyze escalated technical issues, identify root causes, define recovery actions, and use data analysis to reduce sustaining excursion risks.
• Lead task forces and continuous-improvement activities targeting tool and module performance, stability, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic coding, database, and data-analysis knowledge using Excel, JMP, Power Platform, SQL, C++, Python, and Power BI.
• Experience with FMEA, structured problem-solving, CAPA, and program management.
• Strong communication, teamwork, influencing, organization, attention to detail, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliver work on schedule.
