Test Engineer (NPI Development) (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Develop and support test solutions for new semiconductor products from concept through mass production.
• Perform pre-silicon virtual tester simulations using RTL and GLS and evaluate early test coverage.
• Develop and debug post-silicon test programs on ATE platforms including Teradyne and Advantest.
• Support validation, characterization, qualification, manufacturing release, and production ramp-up.
• Contribute to DFT requirements, test strategy, methodology improvement, automation, and AI-assisted solutions.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, Validation, and Manufacturing teams; perform root-cause analysis and maintain test documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and engineers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong fundamentals in circuits, semiconductors, and microcontrollers.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in C, C++, Python, Perl, or a similar language.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have

• Internship, project, or academic exposure to IC testing, RTL, verification, or DFT.
• Familiarity with automated test systems, silicon validation, or characterization.
• Awareness of automotive-grade quality and reliability requirements.
