Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $202,500–$274,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build Payments and Invoicing capabilities for multiple customer segments.
• Drive software architecture, coding, and major technology initiatives from ideation through execution.
• Design and implement durable, scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions.
• Apply AI technologies to customer problems and build AI-native applications.
• Use evaluation tools to measure solution accuracy and guide the applicability of AI.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional partners across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
• 7+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
• Full-stack experience applying AI technologies to user experiences or backend solutions.
• Experience with SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, large language models, prompt engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Node, Java, and Spring.
• Experience building AI-native applications for at least one year, including coding with Code Assist tools such as Claude and developing custom plugins or applications.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a cloud computing environment such as AWS or GCP.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
