Team Lead, Readiness & Response

What you will do

• Oversee mission readiness and fleet response operations to support vehicle availability and organizational uptime goals.
• Manage and mentor full-time Shift Leads and contingent associates, including onboarding, training, performance management, and operational coaching.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical field incidents, service interruptions, and complex vehicle or rider issues.
• Manage vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, and facility vendors, holding partners accountable for safety, response time, and service quality.
• Identify bottlenecks in depot workflows and field response protocols, including software deployment and sensor cleaning, and implement process improvements.
• Analyze site KPIs and report on fleet health, team efficiency, vendor performance, safety, and vehicle status accuracy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in an operations-based environment.
• Experience managing and developing people leaders at Shift Lead or Supervisor level.
• Extensive experience managing contractor or contingent workforces and third-party service providers against SLAs.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions during high-priority escalations and ambiguous, fast-paced situations.
• Technical aptitude for understanding autonomous vehicle hardware and software, plus experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Clean driving record and commitment to OSHA, health, safety, and regulatory compliance required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business management, operations, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or another safety-critical industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Familiarity with fleet management software.
