Team Lead, Readiness & Response (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; Workplace: On-site; travel required less than 20%

Base salary: $88,000–$105,000 per year, plus potential RSUs, stock appreciation rights, and sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Lead mission readiness and fleet response operations to support vehicle service readiness, fleet availability, and operational uptime.
• Manage and develop Shift Leads and contingent associates, including onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Serve as the on-site escalation point for critical field incidents, service interruptions, and complex vehicle or rider issues.
• Manage recovery, roadside assistance, and facility vendors against safety, response-time, service-quality, and SLA expectations.
• Improve depot workflows, field-response protocols, software deployment, sensor-cleaning processes, and other activities that reduce vehicle downtime.
• Analyze site KPIs and report insights on fleet health, team efficiency, vendor performance, documentation, and vehicle status.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in an operations-based environment.
• Experience managing and developing people leaders at Shift Lead or Supervisor level.
• Extensive experience managing contractor or contingent workforces and third-party service providers.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions during high-priority escalations and ambiguous situations.
• Technical aptitude for autonomous vehicle hardware and software, plus experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Commitment to OSHA, health, and safety compliance; a clean driving record is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles or another safety-critical industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced service environment and familiarity with fleet management software.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process optimization methodologies.
