Mortgage Loan Officer (Mortgage)

Location: Cupertino, California, in-office; Silicon Valley market including Cupertino, Palo Alto, and San Jose

Salary: $37,440–$40,560 base salary per year, plus incentive compensation

What you will do

• Recommend mortgage loan solutions according to lending guidelines and customer requirements.
• Manage customer relationships, retain existing clients, and develop new business through sales calls.
• Prepare loan solutions, refer relevant products and services, and review documentation for compliance.
• Manage the customer pipeline and coordinate mortgage transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze financial information for multifaceted and complex borrowers.

Requirements

• University or college degree with less than one year of professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, banking products, loan origination, financial analysis, sales, and customer relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively, manage customer experiences, sell solutions, and assess business risks.
• Must work in the in-office Silicon Valley, California market.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
• Successful candidates may be subject to background checks under applicable consumer financial protection and mortgage regulations.
