Relationship Manager II (Banking)

Location: In office at 500 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, California, US 92660

Salary: $71,869–$114,797 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Acquire new small business and personal banking clients and expand existing relationships.
• Manage a client portfolio through cross-selling, retention, and tailored financial advice.
• Assess client needs across deposits, investments, credit, and other banking solutions.
• Develop business through networking, community involvement, and professional relationship building.
• Collaborate with internal banking partners to resolve client needs and identify opportunities.
• Manage lending decisions, operational risk, regulatory requirements, and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of direct sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Must be registered or licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, or eligible for registration under the Safe Act.
• Knowledge of personal and business banking products, financial statements, negotiation, and economic conditions.
• Strong understanding of banking policies, compliance, CIP, KYC, and risk management.
