Mortgage Loan Officer - Retail

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Support customers from loan approval through closing and coordinate with origination sources to secure and verify underwriting information.
• Advise customers on completing loan applications and maintain client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably in a bank.
• NMLS license.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, underwriting guidelines, and mortgage products such as conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, multitasking, and PC/internet skills.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.
