Financial Consulting Senior Associate - Finance as a Service

Salary: $73,500–$139,700 per year, plus discretionary bonus

hirify.global provides professional accounting, technology, and consulting services to private lower middle-market clients through its Finance as a Service practice.

What you will do

• Manage client Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Month End Close cycles.
• Review journal entries, approve bank and general ledger reconciliations, and prepare or review monthly financial statements.
• Perform month-over-month variance analysis and actual-to-budget analysis.
• Analyze financial information and provide actionable insights and decision support to client management.
• Lead, manage, and coach client service representatives and associates.
• Identify process improvements and implement tools, systems, modules, and integrations that improve month-end close efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, adapt to change, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, tables, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Experience with automated accounting systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, BlackLine, Bill.com, or Tallie.
• CPA certification or pursuit of a CPA is preferred but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or another professional services environment.
• Experience developing a Controller skill set across multiple industries.
