Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist (Automotive)

Location: Buffalo, NY, United States; high travel required across the country with overnight hotel stays up to five nights per week.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year. Training compensation is $60,000–$63,000; targeted income after training is $80,000+ including bonuses.

What you will do

• Build professional relationships with automotive dealership customers.
• Identify operational and accounting problem areas within dealerships.
• Apply established consulting programs and automotive industry expertise to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
• Work with dealership personnel to implement solutions and complete consulting projects.
• Follow up with customers to provide ongoing fee-for-service support and resolve problems.
• Develop customer trust and support additional consulting services sales.

Requirements

• At least five years of automotive dealership experience, such as office management, automotive accounting control, or AP/AR accounting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight hotel stays up to five nights every week.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with fewer than two moving violations in the past three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the past five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
• Experience with hirify.global accounting software is highly preferred.
