Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern (Risk Consulting)

Location: McLean, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required.

What you will do

• Support client meetings and consulting projects related to process risk and controls.
• Contribute to internal audit, SOX compliance, and financial reporting control projects.
• Prepare reports, document results and recommendations, and discuss findings with clients.
• Complete client projects efficiently according to timelines and critical dates.
• Analyze client information and document work using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Attend relevant conferences, training sessions, and meetings for professional development.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, at an accredited university.
• Accounting, Finance, or Data & Analytics major preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
