Internal Audit & Risk Advisory Senior Consultant

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $80,000–$129,930 per year

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management to identify and manage financial and operational risks.
• Assess client businesses, processes, systems, and controls across multiple engagements.
• Review controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and provide recommendations.
• Assist with implementing processes and controls that address key business risks.
• Prepare executive summaries, final reports, presentations, and engagement work papers.
• Build client relationships, provide business assurance, and support the development of team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• At least three years of professional experience.
• Experience in risk advisory, internal or external audit, business process reengineering, or internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• CPA or CIA certification and consulting client-service experience are preferred.
