TL;DR
Quality Management Lead (Network Systems/Cybersecurity): Leading quality management and process improvement for U.S. Army network systems with an accent on Lean Six Sigma, quality planning, risk management, and cross-functional analysis. Focus on designing data-collection plans, facilitating workshops, evaluating products and processes, and driving corrective actions across mission-critical environments.
Location: Remote role associated with Belcamp, Maryland, USA, with an additional location in McLean, Virginia, USA; occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
Salary: $99,000–$225,000 annualized USD

What you will do
- Lead quality management and process improvement initiatives for complex network environments.
- Work with engineers, analysts, support staff, and leadership to define success criteria, identify pain points, and develop improvement opportunities.
- Plan data collection, facilitate cross-functional workshops, and communicate quantitative and qualitative findings.
- Develop and maintain quality management plans, perform product and process evaluations, and establish risk management practices.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions using Lean Six Sigma, business process reengineering, design thinking, theory of constraints, and continuous process improvement methods.
- Deliver quality improvements across Army network modernization, cybersecurity, and procurement mission domains.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading enterprise- or program-level quality management and process improvement initiatives in complex, mission-critical network environments.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, business process reengineering, design thinking, theory of constraints, or continuous process improvement.
- Experience authoring and maintaining Quality Management Plans and presenting to senior leaders and technical teams.
- Ability to plan data collection, facilitate workshops, tailor methods to mission needs, and use SIPOC, Fishbone, FMEA, and trend analysis tools.
- Secret clearance is required, and eligibility for access to classified information may be necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience with Army or Department of War environments, enterprise IT networks, logistics, or cybersecurity governance.
- Experience with performance metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement pipelines.
- Master’s degree or Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, ASQ CQE/CQA, or equivalent certification.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
