Field Service Operations Technician (Marine)

Location: Onsite in Saint Cloud, FL / Orlando, FL. Weekend work is included in a five-day schedule, with rotating days off. Travel is not required.

Salary: $54,300–$75,400 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Receive and prioritize boat-status and service requests from marina personnel, communicate requirements, and track progress.
• Provide dockside and facility-based marine service to keep rental and work boats operational, safe, and ready for use.
• Diagnose and repair engines, drives, rigging, controls, gauges, and related boat systems using test equipment and diagnostic software.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Mercury products and recommend configuration or maintenance adjustments.
• Operate boats, trucks, tractors, and trailers for rigging, launching, equipment movement, and related service activities.
• Coordinate parts, inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, records, suppliers, and material flow to support service priorities.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging, or boats; relevant technical training or school time may count.
• Ability to diagnose and repair marine engines, drives, rigging, controls, gauges, and related boat systems.
• Working knowledge of parts inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material-control practices.
• Computer literacy, including intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills, plus experience with diagnostic or inventory systems.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or relevant technical education.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, parts distribution, shipping and receiving, or related logistics.
• Customer service experience.
