Associate Service Technician (Equipment Repair)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; onsite work involving shop, yard, field, and production environments.

Salary: $42,100–$64,500 per year.

What you will do

• Perform simple repairs, calibration, adjustments, and preventive maintenance under technician supervision.
• Assist with equipment inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Clean machines before they are moved into the shop for estimates or repairs.
• Load and unload equipment and maintain an organized yard and clean work area.
• Help maintain parts and materials organization and processes.
• Develop safe work habits and practical knowledge of machine repair and maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, previous Oshkosh contracting experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; working conditions may require moderate lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mechanic skills and experience using standard hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service lifts or similar equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
