Field Sales Technologist (Semiconductor)

Location: Remote within the United States; extensive travel to customer sites is required. The role initially supports North America and may potentially expand worldwide.

Salary: $209.2K–$308.2K USD annually, including salary and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Provide on-site technical support and resolve complex hardware and software issues involving hirify.global products.
• Support customer applications through design conversions, simulations, system architecture proposals, RTL designs, benchmarking, and proof-of-concept creation.
• Analyze silicon interfaces including DSP, memory controllers, PCIe/DMA, SerDes, and networking.
• Support customer opportunities and drive design wins in collaboration with sales.
• Provide product guidance, training, and best-practice recommendations to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in field support, applications engineering, or a customer-facing technical role in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong understanding of FPGA architecture, design flows, and development tools such as Quartus Prime.
• Strong design, RTL, and software background with experience debugging complex hardware and software systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and prioritization skills.
• Eligibility for required U.S. export authorizations and willingness to travel extensively to customer sites are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Familiarity with one or two vertical segments, such as AI, data center, communications, or video.
