Salary: $29–$43 per hour, plus potential equity, flexible PTO, and other benefits.

Company

hirify.global develops Superpower industrial gas turbines and Overture supersonic airliners, including advanced manufacturing processes for novel aerospace components.

What you will do

  • Fabricate, build, and finish parts using metal, ceramic, and polymer additive manufacturing, investment casting, heat treatment, and general shop and laboratory processes.
  • Work with Advanced Process engineers to turn concepts into hardware and iterate quickly through development cycles.
  • Set up and run development trials, document results, and improve emerging manufacturing processes.
  • Handle powders, wax, ceramics, hot metal, and chemicals safely and maintain clean work practices.
  • Perform routine equipment cleaning, first-line maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Organize laboratory and shop areas, including tooling, consumables, workflows, and work instructions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on fabrication or laboratory experience across multiple areas, such as machining, finishing, welding, additive manufacturing, casting, composites, heat treatment, assembly, or materials testing.
  • Ability to learn new machines and processes independently.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD and connect design intent with manufacturing methods.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills when reporting experiments and results to engineers.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous R&D environment where processes are still being developed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or another high-performance environment.
  • Experience with metal LPBF, SLA, ceramic, or polymer additive manufacturing.
  • Investment casting, wax, ceramic, foundry, heat treatment, furnace operation, metallography, or materials-laboratory experience.
  • Experience establishing or organizing a new laboratory or shop area.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work across multiple manufacturing processes, materials, and first-of-their-kind aerospace parts.
  • Continuous learning in an advanced R&D environment where experimentation and iteration are central to the work.
  • Potential long-term incentives or equity.
  • Flexible PTO and other employee benefits.
