Small Business Product Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid internship at the corporate office in Short Hills, New Jersey

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support small business initiatives by leveraging third-party data to improve underwriting outcomes and monitor data performance.
• Conduct market research and analyze new and enhanced business opportunities using MarketMax and competitive intelligence reports.
• Support marketing and product communication efforts.
• Use Power BI to monitor small business production, DSM pricing, straight-through issuance, regional results, and hit ratios.
• Partner with risk management to identify emerging issues affecting small business policyholders and develop ways to address them.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student to qualify.
• Full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors are ideal candidates.
• High school diploma required.
• Demonstrated interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Ability to perform at a professional level.

Nice to have

• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
