Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Charlotte, NC. Work is performed from home or a company office, with priority given to hiring talent in the Charlotte area for the hybrid workforce.

What you will do

• Own complex UX/UI projects from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity delivery and developer handoff.
• Design experiences for the website, eCommerce journey, and customer account platform.
• Translate strategic direction into practical design approaches and data-informed recommendations.
• Identify AI-enabled opportunities and create rapid, testable prototypes with product, content, and engineering partners.
• Plan and facilitate usability testing, design reviews, and research sessions.
• Raise team craft through critique, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback for junior designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in design, UX, HCI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio covering complex digital products.
• Professional experience using AI in product design, including design exploration, prototyping, workflow improvement, or AI-enabled experiences.
• Expertise with Figma and established design systems.
• Ability to execute independently, explain design rationale, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in eCommerce, telecommunications, or high-volume consumer products.
• Familiarity with front-end workflows and developer handoff practices.
• Experience with UserTesting, Maze, Lookback, or similar research platforms.
• Experience with conversion rate optimization or data-driven experimentation.
• Spanish proficiency.
