Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York City; candidates must reside in New York or be able to commute to the New York City office at least three times a week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead product design end-to-end, from customer research and discovery through high-fidelity flows, prototypes, and delivery.
• Write clear, well-scoped product requirement documents and collaborate closely with engineers to bring designs to life.
• Contribute to Trailmix, the internal design system, and create scalable SaaS experiences for desktop and mobile.
• Partner with the implementation team on customer deployments through project management, product strategy, and customer communications.
• Develop prototypes for RFP responses and demos with the business development team.
• Create marketing assets, conference materials, and other branded content with the leadership team.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of product design experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or agency environment.
• Experience designing administrative tools and scalable SaaS products for desktop and mobile.
• Experience in client services and direct customer collaboration.
• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• Experience using AI-powered workflows and tools such as ChatGPT, Figma Make, or Lovable.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor and willingness to contribute to the codebase.
