What you will do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Provide longitudinal medication treatment and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, and message patients.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, culturally responsive care across a broad range of diagnoses, complexity, and severity levels.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, or an accredited ARC-PA physician assistant program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted state license.
• Have at least 2 years of professional practice experience.
• Be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Strong preference for an active DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients across a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, academic psychiatry certification, or a Doctor of Medical Science degree with a psychiatry concentration.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Ability to offer in-person care options.
