EAP Counselor / Workplace Mental Health Consultant w/ Therapy

Location: On-site at the customer location in Huntsville, Alabama, United States, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, plus stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Provide on-site EAP counseling, consultation, support, and referrals to employees, managers, people teams, and leaders.
• Conduct management consultations, employee assessments, service agreements, and recovery plans.
• Manage mandatory Drug Free Workplace referrals and monitor employee engagement in the referral process.
• Deliver critical incident response, crisis triage, safety planning, follow-up, trainings, and benefit promotion events.
• Identify barriers to care, coordinate solutions with leadership, and maintain accurate documentation compliant with risk-management and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the hirify.global Clinical Manager, clinical team, and clinical care navigators while following confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Independent, unrestricted Alabama licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist, with at least three years of experience.
• Must provide on-site support in Huntsville, Alabama, during 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. local hours.
• Training and experience in management consultation, management referrals, critical incident response, EAP presentations, and evidence-based short-term, solution-focused therapy.
• Experience providing safety planning and interventions for higher-risk situations, along with timely and high-quality clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of healthcare settings and community resources, strong written and verbal communication skills, and comfort adopting new technologies.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical colleagues and care navigators.

Nice to have

• EAP experience, SAP qualification, or CEAP certification.
• Florida licensure; Alabama-licensed applicants must be open to obtaining Florida licensure.
• Supervisory experience or experience working with management and human resources professionals.
• Substance use disorder experience and experience with diverse populations; bilingual skills are preferred.
