Sr Associate Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, data solutions, and automation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs, implementation tasks, data flows, integration patterns, and acceptance criteria.
• Build data pipelines, transformations, microservices, event-driven solutions, and enterprise integrations using Python, SQL, APIs, and related technologies.
• Deploy containerized solutions and support cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, release management, monitoring, and observability.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, security issues, integration failures, data defects, and performance problems while implementing durable corrective actions.
• Contribute to technical standards, documentation, Agile delivery, prototypes, and AI-enabled applications and developer tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 3 years, bachelor’s degree with 4 years, associate degree with 6 years, or high school diploma/GED with 8 years of Information Systems experience.
• Professional experience developing, integrating, deploying, or supporting enterprise software or data solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including application development, relational data, data transformations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation, APIs, web services, microservices, event-driven solutions, CI/CD, source control, monitoring, and production incident response.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, access controls, Agile/Scrum, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work with cloud, data, automation, and enterprise application platforms; experience with Databricks, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or AI technologies is valuable.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other enterprise environments.
• Experience with PySpark, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, Rafay, AWS container services, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience integrating AI services, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or intelligent automation.
• Relevant certifications in cloud, software development, data engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, Agile, or enterprise platforms.
