What you will do

• Design and deploy agent-based AI systems for clinical data extraction in production.
• Develop and integrate modular AI capabilities into existing production platforms with focus on scalability and cost.
• Partner with clinical AI and product teams to prioritize problems and define success metrics.
• Establish evaluation and monitoring frameworks to support safe deployment in regulated environments.
• Provide technical leadership through design documentation and architectural tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems at scale.
• 3+ years of experience shipping LLM-powered applications and agent-based workflows (orchestration, structured outputs).
• Strong expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, Lambda/Fargate) and Docker.
• Must be based in the US.

• Advanced degree or background in clinical or life sciences disciplines.
