Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Hybrid role requiring time in the Washington, DC office and Rockville, MD headquarters, United States

Salary: USD $127,102–$156,550 annually; target annual bonus varies by role level.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with patient advocacy organizations, pharmaceutical trade associations, practitioner groups, and other stakeholder communities.
• Engage USP Convention Members through sectors by developing informative programming and content.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to incorporate relevant perspectives into engagement activities.
• Develop executive presentations, talking points, and messaging briefs.
• Lead issue management based on objectives, stakeholders, and organizational risks.
• Advise executives and colleagues on stakeholder engagement, storytelling, and relationship-building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in life sciences advocacy, trade associations, or a similar field.
• Established relationships with patient advocacy organizations and/or pharmaceutical trade associations.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical life cycle and stakeholder sectors across it.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and outcome focus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, influence, and adaptability skills.
