Summer Associate Internship (Operations Strategist) (Fintech)

Location: Vienna, VA, United States (Hybrid); Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT

What you will do

• Coordinate small- and large-scale servicing modernization initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop operational solutions, project plans, business cases, roadmaps, reports, presentations, and dashboards.
• Analyze processes, services, trends, performance indicators, and industry benchmarks to recommend improvements.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, risk identification, audits, and compliance remediation.
• Apply Agile and Lean principles and contribute to change management, communications, and implementation tracking.
• Partner with senior staff, business units, vendors, and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with organizational strategies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Working knowledge of project, process improvement, and change management methodologies.
• Exposure to Agile principles, including Scrum, XP, or Lean.
• Experience with change management tools such as impact analysis, readiness assessments, stakeholder alignment, communications, and training content development.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and interact effectively with staff, management, vendors, and members.

Nice to have

• Experience researching and analyzing data, processes, and trends.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics methodologies or related tools.
• Advanced spreadsheet and presentation software skills.
• Relationship-building skills, initiative, innovative thinking, and problem-solving ability.
