Summer Associate Internship (Digital Payments Strategist)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida, United States. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess competitor products, services, and potentially disruptive payment technologies.
• Research emerging trends across ACH, wires, Zelle, faster payments, cross-border payments, and other money movement solutions.
• Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, high-level roadmaps, and detailed action plans.
• Analyze member and operational impacts using research, data, and empirical evidence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build relationships and influence new behaviors.
• Present analysis and proposals to management, including senior executives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 productivity and AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, for research, analysis, content development, and presentations.
• Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of data and analytics tools such as Power BI, Databricks, SQL, SPSS Modeler, R, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Strong communication, presentation, strategic, critical, and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of financial services or payments.
