TL;DR
Team Leader - Victoria/Tasmania, Positive Partnerships (Autism Education): Facilitating professional learning and parent/carer programs for autistic young people across face-to-face and online formats with an accent on evidence-informed education, stakeholder partnerships, and facilitator support. Focus on leading state-based program delivery, coordinating workshops and webinars, and contributing to pilots, contract activities, and continuous improvement.

Location: Remote-based in Victoria or Tasmania, Australia; regular intrastate and interstate travel required.

Salary: AUD 145,000–AUD 151,000 yearly, including superannuation and salary packaging benefits.

What you will do

  • Facilitate professional learning and parent/carer programs through face-to-face and online formats.
  • Support the planning and delivery of state-based Positive Partnerships activities.
  • Provide guidance, induction, and support to program facilitators and delivery teams.
  • Build partnerships with educators, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to contract-related projects, pilots, trials, webinars, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with state and national teams to achieve program objectives and maintain delivery quality.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in education, disability, allied health, or a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-informed educational practice for autistic young people and effective home/school partnerships.
  • Experience applying current evidence about autism and education to professional practice.
  • Successful experience facilitating workshops, including through online platforms, and knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
  • Current Working with Children Check for the state of residence, ability to work outside standard hours when required, and availability for regular intrastate and interstate travel.
