IT Onsite Field Technician

Location: Onsite in Anaheim, California, with an assigned territory and travel of up to 25% including hotel stays. Paid hands-on training takes place in College Station, Texas.

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for onsite technical concerns at assigned customer accounts.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, desktop, network, printer, VoIP, and other onsite technical issues.
• Collaborate with the help desk to coordinate efficient issue resolution.
• Schedule client installations and guide the deployment of new equipment.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and professional customer service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an IT support role.
• Technical associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and networking issues.
• Valid driver’s license, fewer than two moving violations in the last three years, and no OVI, DUI, or DWI violations in the last five years.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds consistently, multitask, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including hotel stays.

Nice to have

• Experience with ticketing systems, Windows Active Directory, and Windows 10 or 11.
• Familiarity with Microsoft server products, RMM software, Cisco, Microsoft 365, and G Suite.
• Knowledge of VoIP phone systems, printer troubleshooting, and network troubleshooting techniques.
