Color Press Operator (6-Color Printing)

Location: Onsite in Celina, Ohio; second or third shift

Manufacturing operation producing printed forms, mailers, document wallets, and pocket folders.

What you will do

• Operate a six-color press in the Celina plant.
• Print four-color process laser and spot-ink forms, aqueous- and varnish-coated mailers, document wallets, and pocket folders.
• Read work orders and verify stock and ink requirements.
• Use quality checklists to identify printing errors and ensure a cost-effective, high-quality product.
• Communicate with pre-press departments about required corrections.
• Identify process improvements while managing multiple production tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish different shades of PMS ink colors.
• Knowledge of ink and water balance.
• Strong mechanical skills are beneficial.
• Prior lithographic press experience is beneficial.
