Location: Timonium, Maryland, United States; on-site production role

Compensation: $19.01–$27.18 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single- or multi-color offset presses.
• Complete make-ready work, including installing plates or cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Inspect plates and cylinders for imperfections and verify image positioning.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain presses, including minor repairs and replacement of worn parts.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended periodic maintenance.

Requirements

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine the materials required for press setup.
• Knowledge of press capabilities, printing pressure, and corrective adjustments.
• Skill using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates.
• Ability to adjust feeders and feed boards, including suction, blast, guides, and head-stop timing.
• Ability to perform routine operational maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
