Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist (Automotive Software)

Location: Lexington, KY; remote work with extensive travel across the United States and overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year; $60,000–$63,000 base salary during training and $80,000+ targeted total income after training.

What you will do

• Build professional relationships with automotive dealership customers.
• Assess dealership operations and identify accounting and other trouble areas.
• Apply established consulting programs and automotive industry expertise to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
• Follow up after projects to maintain relationships and provide fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
• Support consulting services sales by helping dealerships achieve measurable business improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of automotive dealership experience, including office management, automotive accounting controller work, or AP/AR accounting.
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to 5 nights per week.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, fewer than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last 5 years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
• Experience with hirify.global accounting software is highly preferred.
