Field Mechanic & Maintenance Technician - Days (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Dallas, Texas, USA; paid initial training in Conway, Arkansas, and travel to remote sites as needed.

What you will do

• Set up, assemble, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, including laminators, converting equipment, and robotics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and root-cause troubleshooting using digital maintenance work-order software.
• Serve as the primary site contact for facility maintenance, including HVAC and loading docks.
• Coordinate with external contractors and production operators to maintain facility uptime.
• Diagnose electrical issues with a multimeter, read schematics, and terminate wiring up to 220V.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, order replacements, and train operators on upgraded equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or 5+ years of mechanical or automotive maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience; multimeter use is required.
• Proficiency with computer applications, MS Office, and digital maintenance work-order software.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work standing, kneeling, stooping, and in other physically demanding positions.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work safely around moving machinery, electrical hazards, chemicals, noise, heat, cold, and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to attend two weeks of paid training in Conway, Arkansas and travel to remote sites as needed.
