Automotive Business Consultant – Accounting Specialist

Location: Remote with extensive travel across the United States; Baltimore, MD listed as the role location. Overnight hotel stays may be required up to five nights per week.

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year. Training compensation: $60,000–$63,000 base salary; targeted income after training is $80,000+ including bonuses.

What you will do

• Build professional relationships with automotive dealership customers.
• Identify operational and accounting-related trouble areas within dealerships.
• Apply established consulting programs and automotive industry knowledge to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
• Complete consulting projects and provide ongoing fee-for-service support and problem resolution.
• Develop customer trust and support consulting services sales.

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive dealership experience, such as office management, automotive accounting control, or AP/AR accounting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight hotel stays up to five nights per week.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with fewer than two moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years.
• Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
