Senior Research Associate, Biology

Location: New Hampshire Research Development Laboratory, United States; full-time, in-person presence required

What you will do

• Design, execute, and optimize molecular biology experiments supporting lead candidate selection.
• Perform DNA purification, PCR, and DNA quality and quantification assays.
• Culture mammalian cell lines and conduct transient transfections for protein expression.
• Culture bacterial cell lines and perform protein expression and purification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance research projects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely experimental records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with plasmid cloning, PCR, DNA isolation, and protein expression.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work full-time in person at the New Hampshire Research Development Laboratory.

Nice to have

• Experience with tissue culture, protein purification, enzyme assays, gel electrophoresis, or flow cytometry.
• Experience with SNAPgene, GraphPad Prism, Excel, and relevant scientific software.
• Experience with NGS library preparation and DNA or RNA quality and quantification using TapeStation or Qubit.
• Experience with protein binding kinetics assays including BLI, SPR, or ELISA.
